Quickly the crown becomes suspicious of Marlowe\u2019s\n\t\t\tmysterious death and the similarities of Marlowe\u2019s works\n\t\t\twith those of \u201cShakespeare\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n\t\t\t<p class=\"intro-text\">A manhunt begins with Marlowe being chased from city to\n\t\t\tcity in Italy, writing The Merchant of Venice and Othello in\n\t\t\tVenice; The Taming of the Shrew in Padua; Two Gentlemen\n\t\t\tof Verona and Romeo and Juliet in Verona. The chase continues to Sicily where Marlowe is finally cornered.\n\t\t\tMeanwhile, back in London, Shakespeare is trying to hide\n\t\t\tfrom the investigation by Constable Maunder and defend\n\t\t\this plays - plays he\u2019s never even read. And the homoerotic\n\t\t\treferences in Marlowe\u2019s new works embarrass Shakespeare\n\t\t\twith his drinking buddies, his concubines and even his\n\t\t\twife.
